DINO DINER A prehistoric food truck chaos game
What is Dino Diner?
You run a one-dino food truck in a world full of hungry, picky, and dangerously impatient dinosaurs. Your job is to take their orders, cook their food on the grill, and plate it up before they lose patience and stomp off — taking your tip with them. Every ingredient costs money, every mistake wastes stock, and the day ends the moment your food runs out. Survive long enough and you can upgrade your truck, unlock faster cooking, and charm bigger tips out of even the grumpiest T-Rex.
How to Play
1. Stock Up (Shop) Each morning you get a daily allowance to spend on ingredients. Choose wisely — dinos can only order what you actually have in stock, so a balanced cart means more customers served. Any money you earn during the day is saved separately and carries forward. Don't spend your savings here — you'll need them on Day 5.
2. Take the Order (Scene 1) A dino walks up and tells you what they want. Read the speech bubble, check the receipt in the corner, and click "Got it!" to lock in the order and head to the grill. Their patience bar is already ticking — don't hang around.
3. Cook It (Scene 2) Click ingredients from your shelf to drop them onto the grill. Each item has its own cook timer — fish is quick, marrow bone takes a while. Click a cooked item to move it to your finished tray. Made a mistake? Click anything still on the grill to pull it off and return it to stock. Click a tray item to send it back too. Once your tray exactly matches the order, hit "Plate it Up!"
4. Plate It (Scene 3) Click your cooked items onto the plate in the order they need to go. The plate shows faint ghost outlines so you always know what goes where. Click a plated item to move it back if you need to swap. When the plate looks right, hit "Serve!"
5. End of Day The day closes automatically when your food runs out. You'll see a summary of what you earned, what you lost to angry dinos, and your total savings. Your carried money does not reset between days.
6. Day 5 — Upgrade Shop Every fifth day your savings unlock the upgrade shop. Spend them on permanent improvements to your truck — faster cooking, extra grill slots, bigger tips, or more patient customers. Unspent savings carry into the next cycle, so there's no pressure to spend everything at once.

Tips
- A dino who leaves angry costs you $10. A wrong plate costs you the whole order.
- Burnt food is wasted — no refund, no second chance.
- Stock a mix of fast-cooking and high-satisfaction ingredients for the best balance.
- The T-Rex tips huge if served fast while their patience is still high.
- Chaos events are random — a meteor can halve everyone's patience instantly. Keep moving.
